Booster Club Purchases

Executive Board Expenditures:

Electronic message board located outside the school entrance on Ninth Street.

A new school bus was purchased which is much bigger and has more storage capacity then the older bus.

All uniforms (sports, musical and choir) are on a four year rotation. They are replaced every four years if needed.

Provide funding for improvements to sport facilities, academic programs or other programs that promote Columbus High School.

Academic Expenditures:

Provide letters, chevrons, certificates, and vendor coupons to students who qualify for academic honors.

Provide pins for all students belonging to Columbus National Honor Society.

Provide funding and staffing for the annual Academic Decathlon.

Have a three year rotation in which two academic departments will receive $1,500 to buy additional teaching materials for their classes.

Contributes to class trips organized by the staff for the students.

The committee finances the Sailor of the Month scholarship.

Teacher of the Year award.

Supply refreshments for the teachers during school conferences and treats during Catholic School Week.

Alumni Expenditures:

Sponsors the post homecoming party at the Knights of Columbus.

Art Expenditures:

Purchase new Laptop computer for Music Department.

Purchase computer for the Art Department.

Purchased new racks to hold uniforms.

Purchased New Pep club Jackets.

Purchased show choir dresses/materials and props.

Costume rental for Spring play.

Purchase new equipment and furniture for play and chorus performances.

Purchased new equipment for the band program when needed.

Contribute to art and music productions through out the year.

Athletic Expenditures:

Provide funding for improvements and additional equipment for all sports and their facilities.

Provide lunches for athletes when they travel to away games.

Provide team posters for all team sports if they desire.

Maintain all the concession equipment, purchase the food items and oversee the sales during school events.

Organize and produce the athletic program handouts.
