STATE BASEBALL
The Sailors were defeated by #1 ranked Solon yesterday 12-9 in the Semi-Finals of the State Baseball tournament. Great Job Sailors on a great season.
Father Brunkan's Birthday
St. Mary Parish, Roseville, will be hosting a 5:30 p.m. Mass on Thursday,
August 5, followed by a meal in the gym honoring Fr. Brunkan on his 80th Birthday.
We would like to invite Waterloo residents to be our guests for Mass and Meal following.

20TH Annual Ladies Golf Gig
The Ladies golf gig is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 5th at Irv Warren Memorial Golf Course. It will be a 4-person best shot with registration from 2-3:00 pm and a shotgun start at 3:30 pm. Dinner and Awards follow at 6:30 pm. Cost is $55 Per Person and
includes golf, cart, flag events, flight prizes, steak dinner, and beverages sponsored by Fahr Beverage.
This event is a major fundraiser for the Booster Club. The Booster Club helps fund programs that benefit all Columbus students. Thank you for your support. For information you can contact:

2010-11 School Year – Start of the Year Events
Tuesday, Aug 10th: CVCS Business Night at Blessed Sacrament from 3 - 7 pm.
Monday, Aug. 16th: Freshman Orientation night 6 – 8:30 pm.
Wednesday, Aug 18th: First Day of School
Friday, Aug. 20th: Fall Sports Kick off and coaches/parent meeting 6:00 pm.
Reminder for all Students: You need to have sports physicals on file before you can participate and practice. If you need a copy of the Physical form just go to the forms page and click on the Physical Form and you can print out the form.
Congratulations Dance Team
Congratulations to our 2010-11 Dance Team, and Coach Janice Weilein, for receiving a
"110% Award" while attending the MA State Dance Team Camp this past week. This
award was given to the Top 10% of the "Most Dedicated" Teams who demonstrated
commitment, effort, and teamwork throughout the three-day training program.
