Sailor Baseball - Roger Jennings slides into the base. Great win Sailors! (1962)
Boy's basketball action - "Loose ball". (1963)
Prom - 1964
Enjoying the Evening - Prom 1964
Sailor Baseball - Coach Weber and the Sailor Baseball team. Note the young man in the middle of the second row. Why yes, it's our very own Social Studies teacher, Mr. Girsch himself.
What this has to do with P.E. class, we're not sure. But that's what the caption said. (Compass - 1961)
Sister Mary Arnold - Music teacher and the sister who wrote the words and music for the school "fight song". (1961)
A survey that appeared in the Compass regarding "dating". The questions (top to bottom) are: Are you in favor of teenages going steady? Do you think dating only one person leads to more physical intimacy than dating more than one? Do you think dating is an occasion of sin? Do you think a teenage who "plays the field" is in danger of getting a poor reputation? How do your parents feel about going steady?
Remember this. It was suppose to be the "student lounge". It was for one year before it was turned into one very large study hall. Of course now it's home to the art room and weight room. (1959)
Sister Mary Beatrice, the first Columbus Libarian (who could forget Sister Beatrice?) (1959)
The first Columbus Orchestra. (1960)
Columbus receives it's NCA Accreditation. (1960)
